This 50 lb. sand base comes painted or unpainted in an anodized aluminum "shell" to be filled for weight. They are to be used under tables only. Not for freestanding Market umbrellas. The set screw is used to connect the umbrella pole. Remember your umbrella will only perform as well as you anchor it with the correct Base.
