This umbrella base mounts onto a concrete or deck surface for stability. The 18" sleeve detaches from the base plate which is low to the ground with smooth edges to prevent tripping. This is an excellent semi-permanent solution if the umbrella will be standing in the same place. Suitable for most standard 1.5" wide umbrella poles.
