The Mankato play structure provides little explorers with a multitude of wonderful areas to discover. The most prominent one is the large, hexagon-shaped space sheltered beneath the Hex Roof. Accessible through the Tube Bridge from the adjacent platform, this area provides endless opportunities for play and imagination. Furthermore, this hexagon area can also be reached by climbing one of our three attached climbers: the Pod Climber, Spiral Climber, and Vertical PE Rock Climbing Wall. In addition, there is an interactive Gear Panel and a 4-foot Straight Slide, adding to the thrill of the play experience. The floor of this area is thoughtfully divided into triangular sections of different heights, creating natural and inviting spaces for children to sit and socialize.Across the Tube Bridge, on the other side of the structure, lies even more entertainment. There is a Double Slide, perfect for racing down with friends, as well as a metal barrier featuring a Ship's Wheel. And for our little math whizzes, we have included a Half Math Panel on the ground level below the Ship's Wheel. Here, children can practice writing and solving simple math equations while having fun!
